1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms and conditions apply to your use of the OTAN — Organic Teas website at otan.com.au and to any orders you place with us. By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Orders & payment
Payments are processed securely at checkout by Stripe; we don't store your card details. Placing an order is an offer to purchase, and a contract of sale is formed once we confirm your order by email. We may decline or cancel an order (refunding any payment taken) — for example if an item is unavailable, there's a pricing error, or the order can't be verified.
3. Product information & pricing
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST. We work hard to describe and price our teas accurately, but prices and product details may change, and errors can occasionally occur. Where we find a pricing or description error, we may correct it and will let you know before processing any affected order.
4. Orders & acceptance
When you submit an order, we'll acknowledge it by email. That acknowledgement confirms we've received your order — it doesn't, on its own, complete a sale. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order (for example, due to a stock issue, a pricing error, or where we can't fulfil the request), in which case we won't proceed.
5. Availability
Our range is small and deliberate, and stock can sell through. If an item you've ordered isn't available, we'll get in touch to offer an alternative, a wait, or to cancel that item.

7. Intellectual property
The OTAN brand, name, logo, website content, text, images and design belong to OTAN (or are used with permission) and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
8. Acceptable use
Please use our site lawfully and in good faith. You agree not to misuse it — including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting the site, introducing malicious code, or using it in any way that breaches the law or these terms.
9. Health disclaimer
Our teas are foods, not medicines, and any wellbeing references on our site are general in nature. Please read our wellness disclaimer — it explains this in full and forms part of these terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OTAN is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or our products. Nothing in this clause limits or excludes any rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Your consumer guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those consumer guarantees. You're entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page with its "last updated" date, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
